09/17/2021 Wind Power Projects In Quang Binh, Quang Tri Provinces And 'Need To Do' Works On Transport Infrastructure

Under the pressure to complete the wind power projects in Quang Binh and Quang Tri of the investor and the contractor before October 31, 2021, to complete, the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam has sent a “very specific” written request directing “immediate implementation” of the survey, assessment and inspection of related bridges on the arterial National Highway for wind power projects equipment transport in the two above mentioned provinces.

08/27/2021 VIETRANSTIMEX Sucessfully Transported And Loaded-Out Two QC Cranes Weighing Up To 750 Tons/Crane From Ba Son Port, Phu My To Vinalines Dinh Vu Port, Hai Phong City

On August 17th, 2021, at Vinalines Dinh Vu-Hai Phong, Vietranstimex successfully loaded-in two bodies of QC cranes weighing up to 750T/crane from barge onto Port’s yard, completing the transportation of these cranes together with accessories from Ba Son Port, Phu My to Vinalines Dinh Vu Port, Hai Phong City. Earlier on June 21st of this month, after the loading-out on barge at Ba Son Port, Phu My, they were towed along a sea route of more than 1,700 km to reach Hai Phong port city

Recently, the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam has sent a written request to the Road Administration Department II and Vietranstimex Multimodal Transport Holding Company (Vietranstimex) to chair, and coordinate with related agencies and units in reviewing, inspecting the condition and reparation of a number of damaged bridges and highways, in order to create favorable conditions for the transportation and circulation of goods in general and for transportation of "oversize - overweight" equipment for wind power projects in particular in Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces
