It's Not Just Another Day

08/04/2020

I have sent messages to my team members, this Covid season, let's do a little more work and bring more values to our partners. In fact, I have expected them to proactively suggest that to me.  Why can't we ourselves understand that we need to think more for people? Why do we have to wait for someone to remind us? Is it because we are accustomed to the rut, being lack of flexibility or being lack of compassion?

Not the first time, but the second time, a knock-out strike.  Then how many more businesses will go bankrupt? How many businesses will continue to lay off their employees, temporarily closed to breathe oxygen?  If you can shoulder a bit more work for your boss, for your company, for your team, for your partners and for customers, take the initiative and do it aggressively, just because this is the season of care, the season of compassion and love.

Your job description since the Covid-19 pandemic appeared has been invalidated. It's useless. Each of us, whether we own the company or we are employed, must understand that responsibility cannot be counted by the list of description as before. The responsibility now is to open your heart to care, to think, for the survival of the company, for the sustainability of the whole organization. The company stands, we stand. The company falls, how can we stand to calculate on doing more or doing less?

Morality of a working person has never been shown as now – this difficult and challenging period. Never before, a sharing heart is much more worth than experiences listed in the employment application. Never before, the corporate culture has become the measure of success like this period.

It's not just another day. It's loving day. It's kindness day. It's the day when we all learn how to be human again…
