Following the successes on the journey of more than 44 years of establishment and development, Vietranstimex has marked a new milestone when it is honorably ranked 36th in the annual Ranking of the world’s largest specialized transport companies (IC Transport 50 2020) with the T50 index up to 13,797 tons of carrying loads according to the evaluation results of KHL Group (UK) announced on August 2020.
In particular, IC Transport 50 2020 marks the 8th year that Vietranstimex is honored to be named in this ranking (since 2012) and has increased by 1 rank in the ranking, from the 37th (2018) to the 36th rank (2020). Vietranstimex is also the only company in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to be listed in this prestigious ranking of a total of 1,400 member companies of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) from 46 nations around the world.
This success is a very proud achievement and recognizes the outstanding efforts of all Vietranstimex members during the past time, especially in the crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
As a member of Sotrans Group, spending over 44 years of establishment and development, Vietranstimex has affirmed its capacity and position of a leading oversized and overweight transport in Vietnam and Southeast Asia by this achievement.

IC Transport 50 Rank is announced annually based on evaluating the Transport 50 Index which is calculated using the total carrying capacity in metric tonnes of all specialized transport equipment in a company’s fleet. The two main sections are specialized trailers and modular trailers and SPMT. 2020 IC Transport 50 Rank is printed on International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazines published in August 2020. This year, the honored companies include 27 units from America, 6 from EU, 4 from Canada, 2 from UK, 2 from Indian, 2 from Japan, one unit from UAE, Turkey, Columbia, Brasil, Mexico, Ecuador and Vietnam.
