Vietranstimex Successful Transport Total Boiler Packages Of The Central Utility System Under The Southern Petrochemical Project

On August 18th, 2020, Vietranstimex finished transporting all four boiler packages of the Central Utility System which is a part of the Long Son Petrochemical Project and assembly of these boilers into platforms on the site of Southern Petrolimex Complex In Long Son, Vung Tau.

Each boiler element weights over 320 tons with the dimension of 15m x 8,5m x 9,4m (length x width x height). Transporting of these four boiler packages is a part of the agreement between Vietranstimex and Deugro signed on October 1st, 2019, in which Vietranstimex performs transportation of Package G - Central Utility System, a part of the Southern Petrochemical Project consisting of hundreds of various sizes cargo packages.

All four boilers were received and stored in the Vietranstimex’s storage yard in Long Son in August 7th, 2020, being transported to the site when all procedures are sufficient. Previously, the first three boilers were received and transported to Vietranstimex’s storage yard in July 29th, then the last one arrived the storage yard on August 7th, 2020. After the water transport process completed, the roadway transport process was carried out on August 9th, 2020 with the first 2 boilers and for the two remaining boilers, they were carried out on August 16th, 2020. As soon as transported to site, they will be placed onto assembling positions available on site by Vietranstimex’s crane rig.
