Vietranstimex Sucessfully Loaded-Out The BK18A Jacket Weighing Up To 550 Tons At Vietsovpetro Port, Vung Tau City

Following the success of transportation and load-out of BK19 Jacket on June 10th, 2021, on July 7th, Vietranstimex continued to successfully load-out the BK18A Jacket at Vietsovpetro Port, Vung Tau. This launching is a part of the contract of providing trailers, pumps, approach beams, access bridge beams and other tools for loading-out the BK18A Jacket and Topside to serve the offshore oil and gas exploitation project at Vung Tau in Vietnam. 


The BK18A Jacket is weighing up to 550 tons, 3 legs, with elevations D: -51,4m; -33,0m;  -13.3m; +5.0m which were received and finished within 05 days from July 2nd to July 7th, 2021 by Vietranstimex. The load-out process was carried out on the fabrication yard at Vietsovpetro Port in Vung Tau. In order to ensure the smooth and safe load-out of the BK18A Jacket, the Vietranstimex team strictly complied with the medical declaration regulations and was mobilized to Vung Tau earlier for isolation before being allowed to enter the port according to the regulations. The application of equipment includes 24-axis SPMT (self-propelled trailer), 2 PPUs, 18 ballast pumps, access bridge girders and other auxiliary tools connected together to distribute the load and ensure the pressure on the port platform.
