PACKAGE A1 - THE PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX IN THE SOUTH OF VIETNAM PROJECT: RELEASES 2 SHIPS OF EQUIPMENT IN SHORT TIME

Only within November, 2020, Vietranstimex consecutively received and released nearly 4,400 tons of overweight, oversize cargos of ABB Lydia ship and BCC Danude ship arriving at Construction Jetty port of Long Son construction site, specifically: 

On November 7th, 2020:  Vietranstimex received ABB Lydia ship and release nearly 150 shipments with loads of more than 2000 tons with particular overweight oversize equipment such as Compressor With Baseplate weighing 152 tons, dimensions of 7.3m x 5.7m x 4.8m; C2R Condenser weighing 128.9 tons, dimensions of 16.4m x 5.5m x6.5 m, etc.
On November 24th, 2020: Vietranstimex received BCC Danude ship and release more than 2,350 tons with particular overweight oversize equipment such as Cracked Gas Dryer weighting more than 300 tons, dimensions of 19.6m x 12.4m x 9.2m, etc.

All equipment of these two ships after docking at the port were received, unloaded and transported to the construction site of Package A1 in a short time of 3 days and met the Investor's requirements.

Petrochemical Complex in the South of Vietnam Project has received total investment capital up to $5.3 billion and has been the second biggest petrochemical project in Vietnam. As planned, the project will complete construction and put into operation by the end of 2022, and the commercial operation will start in early 2023. The project is expected to create about 15,000 - 20,000 jobs during construction,  needs more than 1,000 skilled positions and contribute around $60 million per year to the national budget during 30 years since it goes into operation. Vietranstimex is honored to become the Logistics contractor of the Package A1 - the largest cargos and equipment package of this Project
