Continuously affirming the leading capacity in transporting and installing overweight, oversize cargos and equipment in Vietnam and the region through the key projects of the country, Vietranstimex continues affirming its position when it is honored to become the Logistics contractor of the Package A1 - the largest cargos and equipment package of Petrochemical Complex in the South of Vietnam Project. The first shipment of this package was undertaken in the early 2020 and Vietranstime has been continuing its efforts for the next shipments to meet the progress of the project.
On September 18th, 2020, Vietranstimex successfully completed the Package 7B: Transporting three 500kV-600MVA Transformers from Tan Dinh 500kV Substation (Phu My Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong province) to Doc Soi 500kV Substation (Binh Nguyen commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province) by multi-modal means of transportation (waterway and roadway combined).
In the evening of September 15th, 2020, Vietranstimex's trailers convoy officially started the journey to transport the 500kV-467MVA transformer weighing up to 286.8 tons from Dong Anh (Hanoi) to Son La Hydropower Plant (Son La province). The 500kV-467MVA transformer, invested in the Lai Chau Hydropower Plant Construction Investment Project, is the step-up transformer for Son La - Lai Chau Hydropower plants to increase the continuous operation of these key works.
On September 10th, 2020, the contract signing ceremony of Quang Tri Wind Power Project’s Equipment Transportation by and between Vietranstimex Multimodal Transport Holding Company (Vietranstimex) and SCI E&C Joint Stock Company (SCI E&C JSC) took place successfully in Hanoi and participated by Mr. Bui Quang Lien – Vietranstimex’s General Director; Mr. Dang Doan Kien - Member of Vietranstimex’s Board of Directors and the representatives of SCI E&C JSC including Mr. Nguyen Cong Hung - Chairman of SCI Group; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Chairman of SCI E&C JSC; Mr. Nguyen Cao Hai - Deputy Director of SCI E&C JSC with the witness of other members of Vietranstimex and SCI E&C JSC.
On September 10th, 2020, Vietranstimex successfully received, transported and loaded-out the ship-loader weighing up to nearly 1,500 tons at PTSC Phu My Port, Vung Tau. The success of the project continues being Vietranstimex’s proud achievements and recognizing the efforts of Vietranstimex team during the past time
In the beginning of September 2020, Vietranstimex completed 1/3 of the plan of receiving and transporting containers and bulk cargoes of Nam Kong Hydropower Project 3 from Tien Sa Port, Da Nang to the site of the project built in Attapeu province, Laos P.D.R. This is the project singed in August 2019 and expected to be completed in August 2021.
